The Bell Family
Spring 1600-1604
The Spring of 1600 was a time of learning and growth for the Bell family. Col, Dimitrei, and Ellis all earned talent badges in gardening and fishing. The weather was picture perfect and the garden bore a plentiful crop. Hudde died peacefully in 1600, leaving his sons to care for the family farm on their own. Much to Col's delight, Etheldred bore him a strong, healthy boy in 1603, whom they named Hendri, after her father. Sadly, she died shortly thereafter. Edwina Saville agreed to move in to help care for Starla, now a toddler of 2, and young Hendri. Col was immediately smitten with her and they married quickly. Edwina bore Col a daughter in 1604, christened Anne Bell.
